Sacred Belly Binding
Basic Belly Binding involves gently but tightly binding a woman’s belly shortly after giving birth. It’s a ceremonial act with the pure intention of honouring the woman. The ceremony starts with a gentle massage of the tummy using warming oils, which is followed by a firming paste application and then the belly binding itself.
Sacred Belly Binding aids in warming and closing the body post-birth. Allowing the bodies internal organs to heal & return to post pregnancy state. Women experience a higher realm closure of their birthing story, even many years after their actual birth so, it is healing on many levels. |
Sacred Sealing Ceremony

After the birth of a baby, regardless of the method, a space is open and empty within mother. The Postnatal Sealing Ceremony includes a cleansing ritual, blessings, warm oil energy release massage, " the Sealing" ritual and space for processing.
The purpose of the ceremony is to close the physical and energetic doorways that were opened during the pregnancy & birth. Pray for healing, strength, guidance & wisdom for the new journey as mother. This Sacred Ceremony also nurtures & honors the new mother~ Spirit, Mind & Body so that she may step fully into the new woman she has become.
A salt ritual is done to allow the mother to pour all of her intentions & prayers into a beautiful bowl of fresh flowers & other natural elements. After the ceremony, mother will also receive a belly binding which connects and supports this sacred time to the mundane aspects of motherhood. After baby arrives a date will be set to hold the ceremony. Full Sealing Ceremonies should be done starting at day 40 postpartum or after. Binding & Spiritual Baths can be done starting day 3 postpartum depending on the health of the mother.
