Breast Feeding Nipple Cream
This breastfeeding balm uses only the finest ingredients.
Ingredients:
Coconut oil
Olive oil
Coco butter
Shea butter
Beeswax
Coconut oil that is edible, it also protects against thrush and contains the same medium-chain fatty acids as breastmilk.
It’s easily absorbed and good for your skin.
Cocoa butter is also typically edible and is thick and forms a protective barrier to help sore nipples. Beeswax helps to solidify it all together.
Since this balm is essentially ingested by a nursing baby, I made sure to use ingredients that are safe, natural, and have a low chance of allergic reaction. For this reason, I decided not to use almond oil because it has a small chance of allergic reaction. I also didn’t use any essential oils in this recipe as I have concerns about ingesting them even as an adult and never use them on babies.
It’s isn't something that is necessary.
This will come in a plastic jar with a lid. The summer heat and shipping will cause the metal to melt and make a mess.
Directions
